Manuscript
Evaluation
This service provides assessments of all genres except children’s books, speculative fiction, fantasy and poetry.
It is our aim to provide authors with an assessment that will help them to develop the manuscript to a standard acceptable to an agent or publisher.
The assessor’s report will include:
- General comment on the genre, tone and structure of the work
- Strengths and weaknesses – both from the literary and commercial aspects
- Comments on spelling, punctuation and grammar
- Market potential
- Checklist of what to include in a submission to agents and publishers.
